Rotorua receives Safe Community award

Rotorua has officially achieved International Safe Community status, following an evaluation from members of the Safe Communities Foundation NZ and other central government agencies.

Rotorua residents encouraged to give feedback

Rotorua District Council has started a period of public consultation on its Draft Annual Plan and a number of other major proposals. Residents are being encouraged to have their say by Friday 7 May 2010.
